I love my hometown of Rochester. In fact, I am even wearing my favorite Redwings hat as I type this. And you know, Rochester has some of the best sunsets, skylines and cityscapes that I have ever seen in my two decades of travel. So if you are looking for some awesome new go to Rochester things to do, then I recommend checking out some of these locales.
Firstly, Cobbs Hill. I will never forget the day that my friend showed me the view from up high on the hill by the reservoir. There is a certain spot on the path that opens up to a great, majestic view of the whole city.
If you have yet to check out the Genesee Brewery, then perhaps you should put that at the top of your “Things to Do in Rochester NY This Weekend” list. Their outdoor patio has the most encompassing view of the city that you can find anywhere.
Another of my favorite places and Rochester things to do is to go to the top of the Frotnier Field Parking Garage located in the High Falls district, just off the inter loop. I swear, it gives an intimate and breath taking thing, so consider this next up on your list of Rochester things to do.
Also, check out Manhattan Square Park. It is a great little oasis of a park in the middle of the city. It is always so peaceful and a great place to go for a walk or a sit, and just take your mind off things.
There is just so much stuff to do in Rochester, and yet nobody can ever think of things. If you are one of these people who finds themselves with a lack of appreciation for our Flower City, then maybe after you take a look at some of these views, then you might change your mind about the city and about what kind of Rochester things to do there are.
